Project Highlights: One our most exciting and aggressive projects to date, is this bold blend of traditional European influences and distressed Midwestern comfort. The mantle and accent walls are reclaimed, 100 year old heart pine, which has been hand painted, distressed and then glazed. The original fireplace was brick.The existing beam work was a light oak and has been detailed to match the distressed mantle. In addition, the floors are stained to a deep Jacobean color with a satin finish. The metallic and gloss patterned wallpaper is Romo, a British company known for it's innovative take on traditional imagery. The paper was applied to both the large accent walls and soffit to complete the influence of the pattern, as well as balance the influence of the ceiling. The wall sconces and large pendant fixture are from Currey & Company. The interior's generous furniture package includes a sectional from Hancock & Moore, area rug from Ralph Lauren, and accent chairs from Lee Jofa. The custom silk drapery is crafted to combine all of the color elements from the adjacent open kitchen.
