The bar is L-shaped and has two levels. The upper and lower bar tops are planked reclaimed pine and hand glazed cherry. The reclaimed pine planking and cherry accent work is a contstant throughout this sophisticated theme basement. The floor is hand scraped wide plank oak. Other architectural details and repurposed vintage doors give the interior unmistakable character and a clear sense of history. Of note, is the wine cellar's tasting table crafted from a reclaimed French architectural turning. In addition, are the repurposed, mid 1960's French riddling racks. Philip Sassano Design was contracted to create the overall vision for project, as well as supply the detailed CAD and manage the various trades. Of greater significance, was the firm's unique role in crafting every last detail; including the lighting, wall & floor coverings, specialty millwork, custom bar & cabinetry, furniture, materials finishing, and other original decorative elements. | |
