Project Highlights: Commissioned to create eleven orignal fixtures for this new breakfast and lunch cafe, artist Philip Sassano used found objects harvested directly from the Lake Geneva area. Each art fixture is titled with a themed expression inspired by the establishments local/organic farming focus and contemporary yet nostalgic feel. Comprised of vintage market baskets, reclaimed milk bottles and other salvaged material, each fixture has elements that mirror the artist's New Element Lighting line. In addition to the lighting, the design of the cafe includes shelves made from reclaimed barn siding, vintage organ pipes and other repurposed decorating elements. Simple Cafe is located at 525 N. Broad St. in downtown Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
