Project Hightlights: The Dining Room wall and ceiling finishes are hand painted and glazed. The wood flooring on the entire first level is refinished and stained to a tudor brown. The Living Room has several original elements that give this traditional interior a more substantial and original appearence. Of note, are a pair of salvage leather/studded doors transformed into mirrored shelf sconces. The fireplace, which was once light oak, is now hand glazed in a French cream. The Study, once again formerly light oak, is painted to contrast with the classic Thibaut wallpaper and window treatment combination. The top of the existing office desk is fitted with reclaimed tin ceiling tiles and a 1/2 inch thick glass top. The shelf above the desk is another studio original crafted to meet the decorating needs of this room. A classic example of how a traditional environment can also be imaginative.
