Project Highlights: The walls, ceilings and bookcases are all hand glazed in a subtle technique know to our studio as an antique fade. Too subtle be called faux, yet just enough texture to give the paint colors and ceiling paper multiple hues thoughout the day. Italian glass pendant lighting is used instead of traditional wall sconces to give the fireplace more mass from floor to ceiling. The vibrant collection of custom framed botanical prints is displayed "salon style" for a less predictable appearence. The window treatment fabrics, and colorful glass placed throughout the interior, are balanced by a natural seagrass area rug. On the main accent wall, the vivid and textural triptych blends all of the rooms design elements making for a sharp, crisp and powerful artistic statement.
