Project Highlights: The design of this interior is divided into two distinct suites utilizing the same decorating concept. The more formal Living Room and Dining Room is coordinated as one entertaining environment, as are the Kitchen and Family Room. The tones and color schemes work in tandem in both areas, as does the dynamic use of refined and rustic decorative elements. In the Living Room, reclaimed herb drying racks display a collection of family photos, while complimenting the leather sofa. In the Dining Room, a hand painted salvage tin mirror reflects and balances the vibrant silks window treatments on the other side of the space. In the Kitchen and Family Room the interior becomes less formal and more architectural, while retaining a balanced design approach. This time deep color is replaced with more a subtle scheme, and mixed textures replace the coordination of wood tones. Again, as in the front of the home, the well placed architectrual elements add definition and character to the interior.
