For more than ten years, Philip Sassano and his team of dedicated design professionals have been crafting personal
spaces of exceptional quality. However, of greater significance is the level of artistic inspiration his projects and clients enjoy. A fine artist by trade, Philip's primary focus is to compose and craft the signature concepts that will resonate with his clients and define their interiors.
This artistic approach allows his interior environments to accomplish two main goals. First, the accurate reflection of the personal history and style of the client; and second, to highlight the sophisticated use of uncommon decorative materials and their innate ability to make spaces memorable. His interiors have included everything from vintage Parisian tin cornice to reclaimed, hand-hewn beams from Midwestern barns to salvaged architectural details from historic East Coast homes.
His philosophy does not advocate a particular design style; rather, he views his role as match maker between his clients and the ever-changing design resources acquired from his vast artistic community. His passion for the unique demands of each project is infectious, and he works with both trade professionals and his own select group of established patrons.
The country studio (Harvard, IL.) and design galleries (Chicago, IL/Lake Geneva, WI), allow the team to create and display everything from custom decorative molding and architectural detailing to original works of art. Clients are invited to visit the constantly evolving studio and showrooms to participate in the development of the creative process that ultimately shapes their projects. Continually progressing toward the next unique idea or special ornamental application, his one-of-a-kind artistic model provides the client, project and team with the necessary creative platform for success.
